Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our dynamic veterinary clinic.
As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of veterinary services.
You will play a crucial role in managing the administrative and human resources aspects of the practice while upholding the highest standards of animal care and customer service.
This position includes 4 - 10 hour work days/week.
Responsibilities:
1.
Clinic Operations Management:
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the veterinary clinic, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient workflows.
Develop and implement policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and client satisfaction.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and overall clinic organization to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times.
Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members.

Human Resources Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement employee performance evaluation systems, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring as necessary.
Facilitate staff development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Manage employee scheduling and time-off requests.
3.
Client and Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction by developing and implementing service standards and protocols.
Address client concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting client retention and attracting new clients through effective marketing strategies.
4.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
Stay updated with applicable veterinary laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring the clinic's compliance.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient information, treatment plans, and billing records, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Coordinate inspections, certifications, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, veterinary management, or a related field.
Previous experience in veterinary practice management or a similar role, preferably in a busy veterinary clinic.
(Preferred) Knowledge of veterinary clinic operations, medical terminology, and procedures.
(Preferred) Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
Proficient in using practice management software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to veterinary medicine.
Knowledgeable of social media set up and implementation.
