Snelling Staffing is looking for several MIG or TIG welders for a busy company if Grand Rapids.
1st shift, $18 - $22 Requirements of Welders:
TIG & MIG welding experience Able to fabricate, cut, form, fit, tack, weld parts Operates plasma and other cutting equipment in a safe and appropriate manner which will ensure proper application.
Lays out materials & other miscellaneous items per print & direction by Foreman on parts to be fabricated & other parts.
Requires the use of simple measuring devices such as tape measure, metal thickness gauges, etc.
Fills out paperwork and job cards involved with each process of production according to set procedures.
Checks and repairs any parts on made incorrectly as per the supervisor's review and approval if needed.
Checks jobs after completion to ensure customer and company quality requirements are being maintained.
Operates machinery and equipment required for the job assigned.
Anticipates material requirements and notifies supervisor in order to minimize production delays.
Maintains normal production standards, schedules as established by the department/Company.
Maintains equipment and work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Demonstrates appropriate safety standards and procedures for assigned area and Company.
Open to considering both experienced welders and newly certified welders.
